As the Paid Search Marketing Manager for the DE/AT market, you will play a key role in driving growth and profitability through expertly managed paid search campaigns. You will have the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives, shaping how we connect with both sides of our marketplace - homeowners and tradespeople. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to consistently improving performance while exploring new opportunities to innovate and expand. This role reports to a Paid Search Director.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the day-to-day management and optimization of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns, ensuring they deliver maximum profitability.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, running ad copy tests, and analyzing performance to continually improve profitability and ROAS.
  • Partner with our Product and Analytics teams to implement advanced reporting and actionable insights.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends, testing new strategies, and exploring untapped opportunities for paid search growth.
  • Leverage AI tools and agents (e.g. Claude-based workflows, Google Ads Scripts automation) for campaign monitoring, reporting, and anomaly detection to work more efficiently and surface insights faster.

Who you are:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Paid Search Marketing, specifically with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Experience with budget management, bid optimization, and performance tracking.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with display or video advertising as a supplementary skill.
  • Experience with marketplace management.
  • Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
  • Comfort working with AI tools and agents (e.g. Claude, automation scripts) to accelerate reporting and analysis — a definite plus, though not required.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary band for this position ranges from £50,000 - 65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Hybrid work environment and home office set-up allowance. Temporary work from abroad policy. Regular team and social events.
