Wings for Life is seeking a Senior Event Manager to lead and shape an impactful event portfolio in the charity sector. You will drive the strategy, growth, and delivery of a diverse programme of premium fundraising events, mass participation experiences, and high-profile partnerships that inspire supporters, engage world-class brands, and generate vital funds to find a cure for spinal cord injury.
Your portfolio will include exclusive owned fundraising events such as Mikey’s Mountain Miles, The Clay Day, and two established golf events, including Gourmet Golf. You will also maximise opportunities through major third-party events and partnerships, including the Wings for Life World Run and the London Marathon 2027.
This role requires identifying new opportunities, developing innovative event concepts, and creating unforgettable supporter experiences. You will work closely with senior leadership, ambassadors, partners, and supporters, combining creativity, commercial acumen, and flawless execution to grow income and strengthen Wings for Life’s position as a leading charity brand.
What We’re Looking For:
- An ambitious, creative, and highly organised event leader.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality events and achieving ambitious commercial and fundraising targets.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience in developing strategy and executing events.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with premium brands, VIP audiences, luxury hospitality, or high-end events is advantageous.
