About Outpost

Outpost is the infrastructure layer for cross-border commerce. We become the legally liable entity for tax, payments and customs wherever our merchants sell next. Series A, backed by Ribbit Capital and Better Tomorrow Ventures. You will work alongside one of the strongest operating teams in fintech. Our founders and engineers built and scaled the products you already know: Revolut, Adyen, Airwallex. You will be in the room with people who have done this at scale, learning how a serious company is built from the inside. We are building our marketing function from the ground up. We want someone technical to build that layer with us.

The role

You are a builder who points your skills at marketing. You see a manual process, and your instinct is to automate it. You are as comfortable in a Python script, an API or a no-code flow as you are reading a chart. This is not a "post on Instagram" internship. It is a growth-engineering internship dressed in marketing. You report to our Marketing manager and work directly with the founders.

What you'll own, examples:

  • Analytics and the weekly scorecard. Stand up the measurement layer we do not have. Pull LinkedIn, web and content data into one dashboard. Replace "please like this post" with numbers, and tell us every week what is actually working.
  • Sales materials automation. Help kill manual deck-building and sales materials. Build the tooling, templates and reusable components that turn a client scope into near-final materials, so we stop hand-swapping logos in Figma across forty messages.
  • SEO and GEO. Own on-page SEO and AI-search optimisation for our site. Build long-form guide pages that work as search, ad landing and credibility all at once. Track traffic, sources and conversion, which today are invisible.
  • Content operations. Automate how content gets drafted, formatted, scheduled and distributed across LinkedIn and the website. Build the engine that turns one guide into a week of posts, and remove the handoffs that slow publishing down.
  • Research and signal monitoring. Build a radar for regulatory changes, competitor moves and viral posts worth reacting to, so the signals surface without anyone scrolling. Enrich target accounts automatically.
  • Lead enrichment. Build one clean, enriched lead flow into the pipeline, and connect marketing engagement to a lightweight CRM view so leads get chased, not lost.

What we test for

  • AI-native by instinct. You reach for Claude, agents, scripts and no-code to do in an hour what takes us a day. You have already built something - a dashboard, a scraper, an automation, a bot. Show us the link.
  • Comfortable with data and tools. You can pull an API, wrangle a spreadsheet, and make a number make sense.
  • A ridiculous bias for action. You ship. You do not observe.
  • Fluent in ambiguity. You turn a vague gap into a working system.
  • Creative in service of building. You find the clever automated route, not just the pretty slide.

Nice to have: Python or JavaScript, a BI/dashboard tool, web scraping, APIs (LinkedIn, analytics), n8n / Make / Zapier, an interest in fintech.

What you'll get

Real ownership of real systems from week one, not busywork. Direct access to the founders and a front-row seat at a fast Series A company. A reference and a network if you ship.
