We are recruiting a Payroll Specialist to join a large, well-established school in North Wembley. This is a fully on-site position offering a stable and supportive working environment. The school is flexible on contract type and is keen to appoint the best available candidate, whether immediately available or currently serving notice on a full or part time working basis.
The Role
- End-to-end payroll processing for teaching and support staff
- Ensuring payroll is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time
- Managing starters, leavers, salary changes, and contractual amendments
- Handling payroll queries from employees professionally and efficiently
- Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data accuracy
- Supporting audits and statutory reporting as required
- Working closely with HR and Finance teams
About You
- Proven experience in a Payroll Specialist / Payroll Officer role
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and best practice
- Experience using payroll systems (education sector experience advantageous but not essential)
