An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Analyst to become part of a fast-growing and dynamic organisation. We are seeking a junior finance assistant who is sharp, collaborative, and eager to get stuck in, with prior accounting experience (for example, through a placement year during university). Key Responsibilities: • Support and co-manage the accounting operations across the UK, USA, and Canada.• Oversee accounts receivable and work closely with the bookkeeper to manage accounts payable.• Perform monthly and quarterly soft closings, bank reconciliations, and year-end account closings.• Handle payment reconciliations and journal entries throughout the year.• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and assist with inter-company transaction reconciliations.• Coordinate with external accountants for filing statutory reports, including VAT, 1099, and statutory accounts.• Take the lead on managing company expense software, including approvals, processing, and staff training.• Provide assistance to the Financial Controller with ad-hoc tasks as required.
