We are currently looking for an up-and-coming graduate for an Events Coordinator position in Central London. This role is paying up to £37k and is offering one day working from home. This company has 180+ events a year, our CEO & CFO development programmes, and the day-to-day experience of a membership that senior executives take seriously. This company offers a positive working environment with progression opportunities.
The role includes:
- Research and book venues across the UK; manage venue relationships and confirm menus, dietary requirements and final numbers.
- Produce seating plans, guest lists, place cards, name badges and attendee packs.
- Handle pre-event communications, attendance confirmations and collection of discussion topics ahead of roundtable events.
- Liaise with Chairs, Honorary Members and speakers before events; welcome members on arrival and manage on-the-day logistics.
- Manage post-event surveys and attendance reporting.
The person should have:
- Great attention to detail. You don’t let things slip through the cracks.
- Naturally proactive: you spot problems before they arise and fix them.
- Comfortable and confident communicating with senior executives in writing and in person.
- Happy juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving entrepreneurial business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly proficient in Microsoft.
