Exceptional Private PA with a calm, capable manner is required to a highly educated Principal within a fast-paced family office environment. You will have a pivotal role in providing true right hand support when dealing with both business and private affairs for a driven, entrepreneurial Principal highly successful within Real Estate investment.
You will be based on your own at the family office but will have regular contact with offices in Europe and with the Principal’s team. Therefore the ability to work autonomously with confidence is key along with the ability to exercise sound judgements when decision making on behalf of the Principal to develop a trusted partnership. An appreciation of the arts would be beneficial when attending various gallery openings alongside the Principal. The role is based in the office five days a week from 9am – 5:30pm with little out of hours work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building a trusted right-hand partnership with the Principal, his family and the Chief of staff
- Full oversight, management of all payments across personal and household matters
- Access to and management of the Principal’s bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Managing household payroll including salaries for drivers, housekeepers and tutors
- Overseeing household staff in the UK and abroad
- Managing car maintenance and related logistics
- Coordinating personal appointments and private scheduling
- Paying bills, processing invoices and tracking expenditure
- Managing permits and associated documentation
- Booking complex personal and business travel (UK and international)
- Comprehensive diary, meeting and inbox management
- Managing education related matters for the children
- Overseeing deliveries, couriers and post for the family office
- Managing office facilities and maintenance
Ideal Private Assistant requirements:
- Proven experience as a right hand Assistant within a family office or UHNW environment
- Demonstrated experience managing payments and working with private bank accounts
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Discreet, trustworthy, confident handling sensitive financial and personal information
- Commercially astute with an entrepreneurial mindset
