2 X Self Employed support workers required (FEMALE ONLY)
This role needs a person who's first language is English, as the role involves acting/speaking on my behalf when required.
Shift: Two days per week (5hrs per shift)
1 shift will be for Saturday (6hrs) the other Shift 4hrs (admin)
1 will be 2 x 5 hrs two days per week one must be a (Friday)
Job Description for the Support worker role: To support me to attend Social activities as required
Assisting me in participating in various social activities as per my instructions, including going to the cinema, bowling, playing pool, going to places of interest, going shopping, attending classes, sporting activities, meeting friends, attending craft shows and events, including Markets.
You will also be attending appointments, and meetings with me.
And assist me with shopping.
Other duties will include form filling, writing emails making phone calls etc.
YOU MUST be able to speak clearly and be able to listen.
And have a can do attitude.
As my support worker your role is to provide me with the help and support that I need, in the community to attend and participate in social activities.
You will need to be a car driver and have knowledge on using a computer to be able to carry out the support needed in the role effectively.
MUST BE a non smoker.
You must have training or have experience in working with Autism.
You must be flexible and be able to change days at short notice.
Applicants must be reliable, trustworthy, friendly, patient and understanding, Willing to take the time to learn how to effectively best offer support.
You will need for the Support worker role:
An Enhanced DBS certificate Public Liability insurance Be registered with HMRC Be able to supply me with a monthly invoice.
