Pay: £19.00 - £25.00 per hour (Starting rate based on experience) + overtime potential.

The Role
As a HIAB Driver for Angel Recovery, you will handle specialized lifting and transport tasks. This role requires a high level of technical skill, ensuring that vehicles are moved safely and efficiently using truck-mounted cranes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate HGV HIAB units safely, performing complex lifts in various environments.
- Secure specialized loads (including vehicles and equipment) using appropriate chains, slings, and straps in compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct site assessments before lifting to ensure ground stability and overhead clearance.
- Provide excellent customer service, acting as a professional representative of the company on-site.
- Perform daily vehicle and crane checks, reporting any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate digital/paper logs and completion of delivery/recovery reports.
About You
We are looking for operators who are methodical, safety-oriented, and able to remain calm during technical maneuvers.
Essential Requirements:
- HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) License (held for a minimum of 1 year).
- Valid HIAB (e.g., ALLMI, CPCS, or equivalent).
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions with flexible shift patterns.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in vehicle recovery.
