Role Purpose:
We are seeking a talented, dedicated and driven Field Care Supervisor to join our dynamic, expanding team based in Bridport & covering all surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation & delivery of care services to our clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of care. This role includes supporting a small team of care workers/clients, rostering carer/clients’ visits, on-call duties shared between other FCS, completing assessments, reviews, spot checks, and writing care plans using PASS & Care Planner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular field visits to clients’ homes to monitor the quality of care provided.
- Supervise and support a team of care workers, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of clients.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform risk assessments and reviews of care packages.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Handle any complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a care coordinator or supervisor.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care is preferable.
- Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Experience with electronic care planning systems is an advantage.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
