Location: Bridport and surrounding villages

Contract: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive pay ranging from £13.00 to £19.50 per hour

Role Purpose

Are you a naturally kind and compassionate person who takes pride in uplifting others? Do you enjoy providing exceptional care and support to those who need it most? If so, Angel Carers has the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our friendly team, available Monday – Friday (Daytime or Evenings) and Weekends. Our respected company provides care for people in their own homes across Bridport and the surrounding villages.

Experience is not essential as full training will be given, including fully funded Health and Social Care Diplomas. We offer excellent pay rates, plus 50p per mile reimbursement for client visits if you drive. While having your own transport is preferred, we also have walking routes available in Bridport, Beaminster, and nearby areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate care within clients’ own homes
  • Assist with meal preparation and assist with feeding where necessary
  • Support with washing, dressing, and personal hygiene (e.g. bathing)
  • Support medication administration (with full training provided)
  • Help with shopping and light domestic tasks
  • Accompanying clients on outings or to appointments
  • Helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home
  • Ensure clients’ overall well-being and safety at all times
  • Providing companionship and emotional reassurance

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, compassionate and reliable individuals
  • Genuine desire to support others and make a positive impact in their community
  • Caring and empathetic by nature
  • Good communicators and listeners
  • Organised and adaptable
  • Committed to high standards of care
  • A Full driving licence and access to a car
  • Based in Bridport, Dorset, or the surrounding Somerset areas
  • Available Monday to Friday daytime, evenings and weekends
  • Existing care experience is a bonus, but not essential
  • GCSE or equivalent qualifications are a bonus
  • Right to work in the UK
