A well-established media and events company in Coventry with over 40 years in the industry, offering a friendly, close-knit working environment and opportunities for career progression is looking for a Sales Executive to join the expanding team to help grow an established conference series.

You'll work closely with the Sales Manager and CEO to help develop existing pipelines, receive warm leads and unearth new business opportunities.

Requirements
  • Articulate, enthusiastic, and personable communicator
  • Previous sales experience in B2B or B2C environment (Event or sponsorship sales preferable)
  • Confident using telephone, email, and LinkedIn for business outreach
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Self‑motivated, target-driven, and proactive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and develop through on-the-job training
  • An interest and understanding of Semiconductor industry is a plus but not essential
What’s Expected of You
  • Work on an established portfolio of events
  • Target potential and existing clients via telephone, email, and online channels
  • Create and renew sales opportunities to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Build on existing client relationships and establish new marketing contacts
  • Identify decision‑makers within leading international organisations
  • Pitch products and event sponsorships confidently and professionally to C‑level executives and decision makers
  • Attend industry events to develop an understanding of the market, clients, and competitors (EU travel may be required)
  • Maximise sales and revenue through research, outreach, and effective communication
  • 70/30 Split of New Business vs Existing account development
What’s Offered
  • Basic salary: £27,000 – £30,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Bonus and commission: Potential OTE of £40,000+
