As a Collections and Delivery Driver for Angard Staffing, you will be responsible for driving a long wheel-based van, delivering parcels on a dedicated route, quickly and efficiently, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service. You will be a key player in ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of large parcels. This role is perfect for individuals who really enjoy a physically active work environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Carrying out safety checks on your vehicle.
- You will be provided with a PDA with a planned route ready for you to follow.
- Lifting and carrying items up to 30kg, equivalent to 32 bags of sugar.
- You’ll be busy collecting and delivering parcels to households and businesses.
- You’ll go the extra mile for our customers as you deliver everything from birthday presents to vital business information.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- We are currently looking for drivers that are available for full time hours (5 days per week) although these shifts are not guaranteed.
- Full UK Driving licence, with no more than six points. (Experience of driving a van)
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Upbeat and self-motivated.
- Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
- Physical capability to lift and carry heavy items up to 30kg.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Resilience and flexibility.
Additional Information
Pay Rate from: £12.83. Our Depots in London have an uplift in pay rates. There may also be an uplift in pay for overtime (Over 40 hours) & Bank Holidays.
