Starting Pay Rate:
Monday to Saturday Nights (04:00 – 10:00): £15.91 per hour
Day‑to‑day of the role:
- Load and unload parcels.
- Move parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Sort parcels to correct delivery route and prepare trailers for drivers and onward transport.
- Securely handle all items in the warehouse, including handling specific items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- No previous experience required; however, experience in similar environments is a bonus.
- Flexibility and comfort in switching between tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg and push loads up to 250kg (with assistance for heavier items).
- Physical fitness and ability to manage long shifts on your feet.
- Motivation, reliability, and readiness to work as part of a team.
