Working Pattern: Monday to Friday or Monday, Wednesday to Saturday all starting at 09:30 until 18:00
What you’ll earn
- Starting salary - £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour)
- After 6 months -£27,561 per year (£13.94 per hour)
- Additional allowances
- Monthly non-pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
- Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 per week
- Weekend premium payments (applied to contracted hours)
- Saturday premium: +£4.39 per hour
- Sunday premium: +£6.58 per hour

Day-to-day of the role
- Conduct daily vehicle safety and compliance checks.
- Collect and deliver parcels to residential and business customers.
- Provide a professional, friendly, and dependable service.
- Sort and organise parcels before your delivery route.
- Follow planned routes using a handheld PDA device.
- Safely lift, move, and deliver parcels weighing up to 30kg.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Previous experience or confidence driving long-wheelbase vans.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to safely lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
- A positive, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work.
Candidates who successfully complete training and meet performance expectations may be offered a permanent position, subject to business requirements.
