Angard Staffing is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as flexible (temporary) Mail Sorters with Royal Mail. Whether you're looking to gain experience or take on a new challenge, this is your chance to be part of a team that helps keep the country moving.

What We’re Looking For: You don’t need previous experience; we welcome new starters! But if you’ve worked in a warehouse or distribution environment, that’s a bonus.

  • This role requires Angard Staffing to conduct extensive referencing on your last 5 years in the UK and abroad.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced setting
  • Pays close attention to detail
  • Is flexible and comfortable switching between tasks
  • Can push trolleys up to 250kg and lift mail bags up to 11kg
  • Can stand for long periods during shifts

What You’ll Be Doing: As a Mail Sorter, you’ll be at the heart of our operations:

  • Unloading mail and parcels
  • Sorting items by postcode and moving them through the warehouse
  • Working efficiently to meet tight deadlines - some teams sort over a million items in a single shift!

Pay & Shifts: The table below outlines the pay rates applicable for Mail Sorter roles within our Mail Centres and Parcel Hubs. The rates displayed are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met. Rates could be subject to change during busy periods; Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.

  • Day Shift | STARTS AND FINISHES BETWEEN 0531- 1959 | £16.24
  • Dawn Shift | STARTS BETWEEN 0201 - 0400 | £17.16
  • Early 05:00 | STARTS BETWEEN 0401 - 0500 | £16.73
  • Early 05:30 | STARTS BETWEEN 0501 - 0530 | £16.49
  • Evening | FINISHES BETWEEN 2000 - 2139 | £16.93
  • Lates | FINISHES BETWEEN 2140 - 0159 | £17.70
  • Nights | THREE HOURS ACROSS 2300 - 0500 | £19.00
