What We're Looking For
You don’t need previous experience we welcome new starters! But if you’ve worked in a warehouse or distribution environment, that’s a bonus.
*This role requires Angard Staffing to conduct extensive referencing on your last 5 years in the UK and abroad*
Our ideal candidate
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced setting
- Pays close attention to detail
- Is flexible and comfortable switching between tasks
- Can push trolleys up to 250kg and lift mail bags up to 11kg
- Can stand for long periods during shifts
What You’ll Be Doing
- Unloading mail and parcels
- Sorting items by postcode and moving them through the warehouse
- Working efficiently to meet tight deadlines - some teams sort over a million items in a single shift!
Pay & Shifts
The table below outlines the pay rates applicable for Mail Sorter roles within our Mail Centres and Parcel Hubs. The rates displayed are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met.
Rates could be subject to change during busy periods, Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.
- Day Shift: STARTS ANDFINISHES BETWEEN 0531- 1959 - £16.24
- Dawn Shift: STARTS BETWEEN0201 - 0400 - £17.16
- Early 05:00: STARTS BETWEEN0401 - 0500 - £16.73
- Early 05:30: STARTS BETWEEN0501 - 0530 - £16.49
- Evening: FINISHESBETWEEN 2000 - 2139 - £16.93
- Lates: FINISHESBETWEEN 2140 - 0159 - £17.70
- Nights: THREE HOURSACROSS 2300 - 0500 - £19.00
- Overtime (40+ hours): Mon - Sat - £16.24
- Bank Holidays: All Day - £24.36
