What We’re Looking For
- Licensed & Experienced: Hold a full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points) and be confident driving long wheelbase vans.
- Customer-Focused: Friendly, professional and committed to delivering excellent service.
- Physically Fit: Able to lift and carry items up to 30 kg and enjoy working outdoors in all weather.
- Organised & Resilient: Able to manage routes efficiently and adapt to changing demands.
- Self-Motivated: Positive, proactive and ready to take on a physically active role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct vehicle safety checks before each shift.
- Use a PDA with a pre‑planned route to collect and deliver parcels.
- Lift and move parcels up to 30 kg.
- Provide excellent service to customers at homes and businesses.
- Represent Parcelforce Worldwide with professionalism and care.
Pay and Shifts
The table below outlines the pay rates applicable for driving roles at our Parcelforce sites. The rates displayed are payable for your shift where the shift description criteria is met. Rates could be subject to change during busy periods, Angard Staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.
- 0‑26 Weeks Service
- Mon – Sat Days: Hours Worked Between 06:00 – 19:00 – Pay Rate £13.87
- Mon – Sat Nights: Hours Worked Between 19:00 – 06:00 – Pay Rate £17.80
- Bank Holiday: All Day – Pay Rate £26.81
- 27 Weeks Service Onwards
- Mon – Sat Days: Hours Worked Between 06:00 – 19:00 – Pay Rate £15.06
- Mon – Sat Nights: Hours Worked Between 19:00 – 06:00 – Pay Rate £17.80
- Bank Holiday: All Day – Pay Rate £26.81
