Aneurin Leisure Trust seeks enthusiastic and customer‑focused Events Team Members for Parks & Hospitality team at Parc Bryn Bach. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role where you’ll play a key part in delivering a high‑quality visitor experience across catering and hospitality outlets. From serving food and beverages to maintaining clean welcoming environments, you’ll help ensure every visitor receives excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm welcome and deliver exceptional customer service to all visitors
- Take and process customer orders using till systems
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to high standard
- Maintain cleanliness of front‑of‑house areas, including clearing tables and pot‑wash duties
- Support the kitchen and catering team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Operate catering equipment such as coffee machines and bar equipment
- Ensure all areas meet hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards
- Assist with cleaning down and closing procedures at the end of shifts
- Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs
Annualised Hours Contract
This role is offered on an annualised hours basis, meaning your total contracted hours are calculated over the year rather than set each week. Working hours will vary in line with seasonal demand. Peak periods (e.g. spring/summer, events) will require more hours. Quieter periods will involve fewer working hours. Flexibility is essential, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. This arrangement supports the operational needs of our busy parks and events programme.
Thorough pre‑employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process. The post holder will be required to complete an application for a Disclosure of Criminal Records.
