Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and highly organised receptionist to be the welcoming face of our Sports Centre. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment, enjoys supporting colleagues, and can handle a variety of administrative tasks with confidence and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the management of the reception area
  • Recording and balancing of cash and other payments
  • Direct & assist the centre's users and answer queries
  • Manage incoming calls, emails and general enquiries

The post involves working evenings, weekends and public holidays to meet the demands of the Centre.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in a Receptionist or front-of-house role (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisation and time‑management abilities
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
  • A positive attitude and a genuine desire to deliver excellent customer service

Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process. The post holder will be required to complete an application for a Disclosure of Criminal Records.
