Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and highly organised receptionist to be the welcoming face of our Sports Centre. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment, enjoys supporting colleagues, and can handle a variety of administrative tasks with confidence and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the management of the reception area
- Recording and balancing of cash and other payments
- Direct & assist the centre's users and answer queries
- Manage incoming calls, emails and general enquiries
The post involves working evenings, weekends and public holidays to meet the demands of the Centre.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in a Receptionist or front-of-house role (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation and time management abilities
- Confident using Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to deliver excellent customer service
