Aneurin Leisure Trust is a well-established charitable organisation dedicated to enriching community life. We’re passionate about empowering adults through learning, and we’re looking for a motivated and inspiring Tutor to join our Adult Community Learning team on a temporary, sessional basis for the current academic year.

What You’ll Do
- Deliver a range of accredited and non-accredited courses to adult learners across Blaenau Gwent.
- Create engaging lesson plans and schemes of work tailored to learner needs and awarding body requirements.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including blended and remote learning approaches.
- Support learners with guidance, feedback, and digital tools like e-portfolios.
- Contribute to learner progression, quality assurance, and community learning events.
What We’re Looking For
- A Level 3 or higher teaching qualification and a subject-specific qualification.
- Experience in adult and community learning, with strong planning and delivery skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office 365, digital learning platforms, and e-portfolios.
- A recognised qualification in teaching essential skills, including digital literacy.
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- A flexible, professional, and learner-focused approach with excellent communication skill.
Additional Information
- This role is subject to Disclosure of Criminal Records and thorough pre-employment screening.
- You’ll be expected to attend occasional meetings outside normal working hours.
