Are you passionate about helping people learn to swim and feel confident in the water? Aneurin Leisure is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Level 2 Swimming Instructor to join our growing Aquatics Team. About The Role
- Plan and deliver high quality swimming lessons in line with the Swim Wales Learn to Swim framework.
- Teach swimmers of all ages and abilities, helping them progress safely and effectively.
- Demonstrate correct techniques, identify faults, and motivate participants to reach their full potential.
- Ensure high standards of safety, welfare, and equipment use at all times.
- Create a positive, fun, and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate registers and assessments on GoLearn and award certificates where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with Supervisors, other Teachers, and Lifeguards to ensure safe poolside operations.
- Promote excellent customer service and contribute to a welcoming culture within our facilities.
Essential What We’re Looking For
- Swim Wales/ Swim England/UKCC Level 2 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Good written skills and computer literacy.
- Commitment to high quality customer service.
- Ability to follow instructions while using your own initiative.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
