An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Manager to lead our dedicated nursing team in the Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) at Grange University Hospital for a 14 month secondment. If you are passionate about stroke care, possess strong nursing leadership skills, and are ready for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
The Hyper Acute Stroke Unit is a 15-bed, fast-paced acute care ward that provides specialised care for patients with acute stroke. You will lead a committed team in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, working closely with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. This post is fixed term/secondment for 14 months to meet the needs of the service. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
Main duties of the jobWe are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and dynamic individual who will inspire and support our established nursing team. Your leadership will be key in fostering a collaborative environment where patient care is always the top priority. This role offers the opportunity to further your nursing career while making a significant impact on stroke care.
