Full-Time & Part-time Vacancies within Torfaen District Nursing Teams - South 1, South 2 & North 1.
The district nursing service is fundamental in the delivery of the health boards' clinical futures model in providing care closer to home enabling early discharge and preventing hospital admissions. We deliver holistic care to patients within their own homes and residential homes 24/7 which meets the increasing complexities in health of our patient population across Torfaen Locality.
Main duties of the job:
- To care for patients and their families within their own homes.
- The Torfaen district nursing teams have an exciting opportunity for a community staff nurse to join their supportive, dedicated and forward-thinking team.
- You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical and interpersonal skills with continuing professional development opportunities.
- Engagement in a robust induction programme to prepare you with the skills to meet the evolving autonomous role of the community nurse.
