The predicted salary is between 31504 - 40000 Β£ per year.
This post is fixed term/secondment until March 31st 2027 due to funding. The Integrated Autism Service provides a diagnostic assessment service and post-diagnostic support which is specialist and innovative. All staff within the service work to an integrated approach which is outcome focused, enabling autistic adults, their parents/carers and the parents/carers of autistic children to understand their diagnosis and build on strengths. The service works across the Gwent region.
As part of a wider multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will provide independent assessment, differential diagnosis and advice in relation to Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Specifically, undertaking diagnostic assessments in accordance with NICE guidelines for adults. The post holder will also provide highly specialised advice and interventions to autistic adults and their parents and carers in relation to complex difficulties associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder. These interventions may be individual or group based. The post holder will also provide advice, information and psycho-education to the parents/carers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
