Overview

Registered Nurse Opportunities: Trefynwy is a dynamic GP led ward which adopts an integrated model to delivery excellent patient care through effective rehabilitation. We care for our patients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and work a 12 hour shift pattern. Our aim is to be an enjoyable and fulfilling place to work, valuing staff and patients, aligned with our Values and Behaviours Framework.

Main duties

  • To assist with the assessment, planning, delivery & evaluation of patient care.
  • To provide prescribed nursing care without direct supervision.
  • To contribute to the development/evaluation of nursing practice on the ward.
  • To act in accordance with the NMC Professional Code of Conduct and other policies.
  • To provide nursing care across all areas of health care delivery within the Monmouth locality as required by the service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
