An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pain, Anaesthetics, Critical Care and Theatres (PACCT) service team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate PACCT clinics
- Ensure all clinic administration is completed promptly
- Act as the first line of enquiry for PACCT clinic appointments
- Handle GP and patient queries and enquiries about clinics
- Make appointments using the Myrddin Patient Administration System and manage direct and partially booked appointments
- Answer telephone calls, make outbound calls, take general enquiries, and book appointments in line with the Partial Booking Policy

Essential Experience
- Experience working within an NHS or healthcare environment
- Ability to accurately and efficiently input and retrieve information on a computerised system while adhering to complex local and national policies and guidelines
Desirable Experience
- Experience in a similar role or environment
- Previous NHS experience
Essential Qualifications & Knowledge
- Good standard of GCSE / NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Business/Administration, OR equivalent demonstrable experience
- High level of keyboard and computer skills
- Knowledge of common software programmes
Desirable Qualifications & Knowledge
- Good level of communication skills
- Experience dealing with the public
