The Team Leader will be responsible for the management of staff within the Referral and Booking Centre, management of waiting lists, Partial Booking Systems, RTT targets, clinic utilisation and work closely with Directorate Managers and clinicians. Ensure teams work in accordance with the Health Board and Departmental policies and procedures. To provide support to both staff and managers as required. The post-holder will work within a large team of Referral and Booking Centre staff. They will liaise directly with the Deputy and Referral and Booking Centre Manager, Directorate Managers, Clinicians, patients and/or carers, GPs and other service users within the Health Board.

You will need to have excellent communication skills coupled with a solid understanding of RTT, Pathway Management and Validation. There are high volumes of telephone calls throughout our departments which needs to be monitored and actively managed. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
