Job overview: We are seeking to recruit a proactive and enthusiastic PBS practitioner to be part of our Intensive Positive Behavioural Support (iPBS) team for children with learning disabilities and/or a diagnosis of autism presenting with complex and severe behaviours of concern. You will be part of a warm and welcoming team comprising psychology, speech and language, occupational therapy and child development advisors who work intensively to provide holistic and person-centred support for children and young people and their families and systems of support. You will be skilled and knowledgeable in the key principles of PBS and keen to reduce restrictive practices and promote quality of life. This post is a fixed term/secondment for 9 months until 31st March 2027 due to funding. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
