Job overview
An amazing opportunity of a 12 month secondment band 6 day unit deputy manager has become available. The role will be the day‑to‑day management of the Royal Gwent Haematology day unit and coordinating treatments for haematology patients. The deputy manager will support a team of RNs and HCSWs and work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team. This post is a fixed‑term/secondment for 12 months due to maternity cover. Main duties of the job
- To assist with the management of the Haematology day unit in RGH, and where required acting on behalf of the Ward Manager.
- To act in accordance with the NMC Professional Code of conduct.
- To be responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care.
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
