The Cardiology Booking Office is looking for a friendly, caring and motivated individual to join the team to provide excellent service to our patients. This role will involve booking a range of outpatient clinics, managing the waiting list, answering telephone queries and working in accordance with Welsh Government RTT guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Book a range of outpatient clinics and manage the waiting list.
- Answer telephone queries with a friendly, professional tone.
- Work in accordance with the Welsh Government RTT guidelines.
- Travel across all ABUHB sites as required.
- Ensure patients are seen in a timely manner in collaboration with the Cardiology team.
- Flexibility and reliability, with occasional weekend working.
- IT literate, able to meet deadlines and with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the WPAS system and RTT guidelines is advantageous.
- Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are both welcome.
