The salary scale for a Band 3 has been adjusted as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2026/2027 and will be implemented in August 2026 backdated to 01 April 2026 where applicable.
The district nursing service is fundamental in the delivery of the health boards’ clinical futures model in providing care closer to home, enabling early discharge and preventing hospital admissions. We deliver holistic care to patients within their own homes and residential homes which meets the increasing complexities in health of our patient population. Assessment, planning, and delivering high standards of care are achieved through effective collaboration and partnership working within our locality.
Main duties of the job include caring for patients and their families within their own homes. The Ystrad Mynach district nursing team has an exciting opportunity for a community staff nurse to join a 24/7 service and be part of a supportive, dedicated, and forward-thinking team. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical and interpersonal skills with continuing professional development opportunities to prepare you for the evolving autonomous role of the community nurse through engagement in a robust induction programme.
