Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities Team as a Facilities Operative - Ward Catering working at the Grange University Hospital in Cwmbran. We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual who is committed to enhancing the patient & customer experience, therefore you must have a passion for providing a high level of customer service. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. This post is 24.25 hours to be worked a mixture of 07:00-19:30, 15:00-20:00 and 07:30-15:00.
Main duties of the job
The duties within each function will be set out in the relevant job schedules. The assignment of these duties will meet the priority needs and demands of the service as identified by the manager/supervisor. The post-holder will therefore be expected to take a flexible approach to their duties, and must also be able to cover rosters. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- Willingness to undertake & complete the ABUHB facilities competency workbook (within 6 months)
- Willingness to undertake & complete statutory & mandatory training including Basic Food Hygiene certificate
