Job Overview

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and well‑motivated individual to join the Therapy Services Booking Centre.

The role requires a committed, motivated, organised and proactive individual who can work as part of a team, communicate effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

The role requires experience in an administrative environment, computer literacy, and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Knowledge of the Health Board’s IT systems, including Welsh PAS, is desirable.

Duties

  • Waiting list management and patient‑focused booking for the departments of Weight Management, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy and Symptom Management Service in accordance with Welsh Guidance (WG) guidelines.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Education & Qualifications

  • Good standard of education at least to GCSE, NVQ or equivalent level.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.

Essential Experience

  • Previous clerical experience and knowledge of administration processes.
  • Experience dealing with the general public.
  • Detailed knowledge of Myrddin & CWS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of WG guidelines related to waiting times.
  • Understanding of Health Board policies and procedures including HR.
