The salary scale for a Band 3 has been adjusted as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2026/2027 and will be implemented in August 2026 back‑dated to 01 April 2026 where applicable.

Job Overview: Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive team? The therapies booking centre within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and well‑motivated individual to join the team. We are looking to appoint someone who embraces change and wants to develop a broad base of experience across the Therapies. This is a vital role within the Therapy Services Booking Centre and requires you to be a committed, motivated, organised, and a pro‑active individual. Working as part of a team, you will need to possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. This role requires experience in working in an administrative role. You will be required to be computer literate with experience of Microsoft systems such as Outlook, Word and Excel. A good working knowledge of the Health Boards IT systems including WelshPAS is desirable.

Main duties of the job:

  • To assist the booking administration team in the smooth running of the department which includes the operation of WPAS.
  • Excellent communication skills together with the ability to work as part of a team and under the pressure of ongoing deadlines are essential requirements for this post.
  • To organise and plan own daily workload.
  • The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
