We are looking for a HCPC Registered Podiatrist, with a Podiatry Degree, POMS A & S to join our community services. This position would be well suited to a graduate Podiatrist looking to start their career in the NHS, or someone with limited experience of working in the NHS. You will work in a variety of clinical and domiciliary settings across the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board community podiatry service.
We offer specialist areas in Musculoskeletal Podiatry, Tissue Viability, Diabetes, and our Podiatry service is also combined with Orthotic Services. Our commitment is to develop our staff by providing opportunities for experience within these specialist areas. We will provide a structured induction to NHS Podiatry practice, where you will undertake outpatient clinics and domiciliary visits, utilising your full range of skills as a Podiatrist.
You should be up to date with current practice and be keen to develop your skills to support interventions delivered to our local population centred around Client empowerment and Foot Health Promotion. The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner and travel to different geographical locations to undertake domiciliary visits is essential for this role. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
