Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our Estates and Facilities team. You will play a vital role in maintaining essential electrical services across our healthcare sites, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant environments for patients, visitors, and colleagues. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a diverse and technically challenging healthcare environment, supporting a wide range of building services, engineering systems, and critical infrastructure.

As a Band 5 Electrician, you will provide specialist electrical maintenance, fault finding, repair, and installation services across Health Board premises. Your work will include:

• Planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
• Installation and maintenance of lighting and power systems
• Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
• Fire alarm testing and isolations
• Generator and battery testing
• Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Air Handling Units and associated plant
• Replacement of motors, pumps, and electrical equipment
• Inspection, testing, and certification in accordance with current regulations
• Supporting contractors and participating in site safety procedures
• Responding to emergency breakdowns and critical service failures

You will work on a range of industrial, commercial, and domestic electrical systems and be expected to support the wider Estates service through a flexible, multi-skilled approach.
