The Cardiology Booking Office is looking for a friendly, caring and motivated individual to join the team to provide excellent service to our patients. This role will involve booking a range of outpatient clinics, managing a waiting list, answering telephone queries and working in accordance with the Welsh Government RTT guidelines.
Main duties of the job:
- This is an exciting opportunity to work in this varied role.
- You will have excellent communication skills especially working with the general public, as well as being dedicated to providing an efficient and effective service.
- You will be working closely with members of the Cardiology team in order to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner.
- We are looking for someone who is IT literate, able to meet deadlines and also has excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the Myrddin system and RTT guidelines would be advantageous.
- You must be methodical and organised in your approach and thrive on the opportunity to make a genuine difference.
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
