Job Overview: We are currently seeking highly motivated Registered Adult Nurses to work within Surgery, Medicine, Urgent Care and Community Divisions covering the full range of specialties throughout all Health Board sites. We care for our patients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, so a flexible approach to work is required, including nights and weekend working, in some areas on a 12‑hour shift system or a three‑shift system. We are committed to exploring innovative ways of working to enhance patient experience. We aim to recruit and retain the best staff possible. If you are newly qualified (have your NMC Pin) or an experienced registered nurse and interested in applying, please complete the online application indicating your preferred speciality of interest and base. Main duties of the job:

  • Bank Registered Adult Nurse
  • Support the Senior staff with the running of the medical ward on a shift‑by‑shift basis.
  • Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
  • Work as a member of the multi‑disciplinary team.
  • Develop an understanding of the requirements of the National Service Framework.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
