Document Controller – Construction An exciting opportunity to join a growing construction company! We are currently recruiting for a Document Controller on behalf of one of our clients, an established and expanding company within the construction industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, proactive and highly organised individual who is looking to develop their skills and progress within a growing business. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Contracts Team, ensuring project documentation is accurately managed, distributed and maintained, whilst also providing general administrative support across the business. Key Responsibilities * Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Contracts Team, including filing, scanning and archiving documentation. * Managing the downloading, uploading and distribution of construction documents across various project portals, including Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint/4Projects, Procore and Dalux. * Ensuring all documentation is managed in accordance with company procedures and project requirements. * Maintaining accurate document registers, tracking requests and ensuring timely distribution of information. * Organising, storing and retrieving both electronic and hard copy documentation. * Booking and coordinating site inductions. * Saving and maintaining site reports on internal servers. * Managing Fieldwire backups. * Logging and tracking internal Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). * Chasing outstanding project documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Work Inspection Requests (WIRs). * Supporting the Office Manager with general administrative duties. * Assisting the Accounts and Procurement teams when required. Skills & Experience Required * Previous experience in a Document Controller or similar administrative role, ideally within the construction industry. * Experience using at least one construction document management platform, such as Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint, Procore or Dalux. * Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, including Excel. * Excellent organisational and time management skills. * Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams. * A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
