This Role is Hybrid, 2 days per week (Tuesday/Wednesday), in either London or Brockenhurst. We are seeking a highly capable and versatile Marketing Manager to drive the growth of our Rotor Sail technology within the global maritime sector. This is a strategic yet hands-on role. You will shape and execute marketing plans, develop compelling content, support commercial growth and ensure consistent brand presence across all channels.
As part of a small, fast-paced team, you’ll combine strategic thinking with day-to-day delivery, comfortable leading planning discussions one moment and creating event assets, digital campaigns or sales materials the next. We are looking for someone with maritime industry experience and an understanding of customer needs to position Anemoi Rotor Sails at the forefront of vessel decarbonisation and support the company’s growing industry profile.
Key Responsibilities- Marketing Strategy & Market Insights
- Develop and implement integrated marketing plans aligned with company growth objectives.
- Analyse market, customer and competitor trends to inform positioning, messaging and campaign priorities.
- Support the development of clear value propositions for Anemoi Rotor Sails within the wind assisted ship propulsion, and wider maritime decarbonisation markets.
- Develop messaging tailored to key maritime stakeholders including shipowners, operators, shipyards, and industry partners.
- Campaigns & Digital Marketing
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, including web, email and social media.
- Manage website CMS, SEO, and analytics to improve traffic, engagement and conversion.
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics, using insights to optimise campaigns and improve engagement.
- Content Development & Sales Enablement
- Create high-quality marketing content including website copy, case studies, white papers, brochures and social media content.
- Translate technical and engineering concepts into clear and compelling messaging for customers and industry stakeholders.
- Support thought leadership initiatives including technical articles, industry insights, conference materials and industry publications.
- Produce sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, brochures and presentations.
- Support PR and media engagement activities including press releases, announcements and industry communications.
- Events & Industry Engagement
- Plan and deliver trade shows, exhibitions, webinars and customer events.
- Coordinate event logistics, suppliers and promotional activities.
- Represent the company at key maritime and related industry events.
- Support collaborative marketing initiatives with industry partners and customers.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Projects and Senior Leadership teams to ensure consistent and accurate communication.
- Manage external agencies when needed, ensuring brand consistency and quality delivery.
- 5+ years experience in B2B marketing in maritime, marine engineering or offshore sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven hands-on experience executing campaigns, events, and content projects within a small or growing team.
- Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to simplify technical topics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Experience producing sales enablement materials and event assets.
- Strong digital marketing capability, including analytics, SEO, CRM, scheduling platforms.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
