We are seeking a dedicated and organised Studio & Showroom Assistant to join our dynamic team at Andy Stedman Design. This is a key role in supporting the daily operations of our studio, showroom, and senior management team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organised, with the ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks efficiently. You will play an essential part in keeping the studio running smoothly and supporting our creative team in a high-end design environment.
Duties
- Provide administrative support to the Director, senior management, and design team
- Assist with client coordination and scheduling appointments using Google Suite
- Handle incoming communications, including emails and phone calls, with professionalism
- Support showroom operations, ensuring it is well-organised and maintained
- Assist with basic bookkeeping, invoicing, and maintaining financial records (FreeAgent experience a plus)
- Manage data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Assist with various tasks to support the team, ensuring deadlines are met
- Coordinate client visits and support the team with any ad-hoc administrative tasks
- Maintain organised records and files, both physical and digital
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
- Experience with FreeAgent or similar accounting software is advantageous
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to take on new challenges
