As Andy Stedman Design continues to grow, we are looking to appoint an experienced Project & Contracts Manager to join our expanding design and build team in Chichester. This is a key role within the business and an important appointment for the next stage of our growth. The successful candidate will help lead the delivery of our premium residential landscaping projects, managing one in-house landscaping team while also coordinating trusted landscaping partners across a range of project types and delivery models.

Working closely with the wider studio, this role will take ownership of projects as they move from design into build. It combines project management, contracts management and commercial oversight, helping to ensure that projects are well planned, well costed and delivered to a consistently high standard. This role is also designed to help unlock further growth within the business by increasing project conversion into landscaping works, supporting showroom sales and referral opportunities, and easing the current delivery bottleneck within the design and build side of the studio.

What The Role Will Include:

  • Managing one in-house landscaping team and overseeing the day-to-day flow of live projects.
  • Coordinating trusted external landscaping partners and subcontractors across different project delivery routes.
  • Preparing and managing quotations for landscaping works.
  • Supporting the commercial side of projects, including cost planning, price tracking and budget awareness.
  • Organising material orders and helping ensure projects are properly resourced.
  • Working closely with the design team to transition projects smoothly from design stage into delivery.
  • Maintaining momentum, communication and accountability across multiple projects at once.
  • Helping uphold the quality, professionalism and attention to detail expected across all Andy Stedman Design projects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Has strong experience in project management, contracts management or a similar delivery-focused role within high-end residential landscaping.
  • Is commercially aware, highly organised and confident taking ownership of multiple moving parts.
  • Understands the quoting process, procurement, materials and on-site project coordination.
  • Is comfortable managing both people and programmes, with a calm and proactive approach.
  • Takes real pride in delivering beautifully executed work.
  • Communicates well with clients, suppliers, landscaping partners and internal teams.
  • Would thrive in a growing design-led business where quality and detail matter.

Why Join Andy Stedman Design:

  • A highly competitive salary.
  • Performance-based bonus/commission structure.
  • The opportunity to take on a key role within a growing premium design and build studio.
  • The chance to work on ambitious residential garden projects with a strong reputation for quality.
  • A collaborative, ambitious and design-led working environment.
