Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards to this Permanent position. This is an exciting chance to join a thriving business in Doncaster. Our client has experienced rapid growth, expanding to additional premises, and taking on new members of staff over all departments. This is not a hand-held terminal system; there is lots to learn in a busy environment with career progression available. 8-hour day shifts with start times on Rota starting at 6:30am, 7:30am, or 8:30am, Monday to Friday.

Duties to include:

  • The main duties of this position would be to keep the shop floor furnished with any consumable, PPE, and kit requirements, maintaining the records required for this.
  • Another key requirement would be vehicle movements in and out of the building, so a driving licence is essential. Forklift truck counterbalance licence for moving of kit.
  • Regular stores duties:
    • Administer Stock Control, including stock movements in or out, reporting any shortfalls or faults on the same day, regular checking of stock levels, full stock-taking procedures, product knowledge, administering and checking the stock control system on the software provided, and liaising with all departments and systems in relation to this process.
    • Maintain acceptable stock levels agreed with the Finance department and use the requisition procedure.
    • Make available stock relating to field work and return field stock to suppliers as required.
    • Have knowledge of health and safety requirements and procedures.
    • Organise subcontract work required for products, arranging dispatch, and accepting returns while ensuring the relevant quality checks are observed.
    • Process any returns or faulty goods, liaising with suppliers and our accounts department, ensuring a replacement or credit is obtained.
    • Package goods to be sent out in a safe and secure manner, ensuring it contains the correct paperwork and labelling.
    • Maintain and store stock in a safe and correct manner, keeping to the designated stock areas, observing COSHH safety data for storage and use, and being clean and tidy at all times.
    • Observe recycling and waste disposal policies of the Company.
    • Month-end process for stock valuation.
    • Ad hoc duties as and when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £26,436.80

Expected hours: 40 per week – 8 hours between 6:30am and 5pm on a rota basis - eg 6.30am - 3.00pm, 7.30am - 4pm, and 8.30 - 5pm
