Andy File Associates Limited are working as a recruitment agency on behalf of our client with regards to this permanent vacancy. This is an exciting chance to join a thriving business in Doncaster. Our client has experienced rapid growth, expanding to additional premises and taking on new members of staff across all departments.
As a Sign Writer for their vehicles, you will be required to assist in all aspects of the department's daily operations, including the fitting of all flat panel graphics/livery and chapter 8 reflective vinyl, with a focus on the fitting of wrap vinyl. Vehicle wrapping is now an integral part of the company's regular business, and as such, has built an enviable customer client base that expects and receives excellence in all areas of vehicle wrapping. You will require a significant amount of experience and a level of quality and confidence in this field to meet our expectations.
You would benefit from having industry knowledge of digital printing, cutting/plotting, and laminating.
Key tasks:- Media and graphics preparation and production, including printing, laminating, cutting/plotting, weeding, and applying and fitting.
- Fitting of livery to commercial vehicles.
- Fitting of wrap media including both digital print and coloured vinyl to commercial vehicles.
- General housekeeping and the continued maintenance of a clean and tidy work area and workshop.
- The use of digital wide format latex printers, vinyl, plotters/cutters, and laminators.
- Basic computer designing using software such as Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW.
- Ensure that all aspects of our client's service contribute to excellent customer satisfaction.
- Respond and act appropriately to requests.
- Participate in multi-discipline teamwork to improve our service provision.
- Adhere to the company's health and safety policy and handbook.
- Knowledge and understanding of safe working practices and procedures.
- Safe driving rules and practices are applicable.
