Andy File Associates are pleased to be recruiting for a Contract Plumber role on behalf of our reputable facilities management client based in Rotherham, England. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plumbing professional to join a dedicated team, delivering essential building services. The role involves providing high-quality plumbing and maintenance services within the facilities, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. The client values reliable, skilled individuals who are committed to delivering excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:- Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems within commercial and residential properties.
- Identify and diagnose plumbing issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all works are completed in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.
- Coordinate with other building service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in the inspection and testing of plumbing systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Proven experience as a plumber, ideally within a building fabric or facilities management environment.
- Good knowledge of plumbing systems, installations, and repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds in Plumbing.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations and practices.
- Must have own transport and tools and a clean driving licence (Maximum of 3 points).
