Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. This hands‑on role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of site operations, involving both preventative and reactive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a background in general site maintenance and engineering,
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general site maintenance across buildings, machinery, and facilities.
- Carry out preventative maintenance checks and inspections.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out reactive repairs in a timely manner.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations.
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers where necessary.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a site maintenance or general engineering role.
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical knowledge (multi‑skilled preferred).
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
- Familiarity with tools and maintenance best practices.
- Health & safety awareness and adherence to safe working practices.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
