Import/Export Administrator - Sheffield Andy File Associates Limited are working as a recruitment agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent vacancy. Import/Export Administrator Objective To be responsible for international supply chain operations, customs formalities, accuracy of stock data (commodity codes and country of origin to ensure correct duties and taxes) and comply with all relevant regulations and requirements. Tasks * Check suppliers’ paperwork is compliant. * Book transport inbound and outbound, track and trace the cargo as necessary to insure proper movement and delivery. * Give clearance instruction. * Maintenance of internal tracker. * Electronically filing declarations. * Check Import declarations match supplier invoices. * MSS data monthly report - chase any missing Import declarations. * Provide suppliers with CMRs or other proof of import (when requested). * TSS - open ENS and Complete declarations. * Stock profiling - origins and commodity code data. * Long term supplier declarations Essential Experience * Understanding of customs and trade compliance or the ability to pick it up quickly. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. * Strong excel skills to intermediate level. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Further details Hours: 37.5 per week (8.30 am – 5.00pm with an hour lunch) Holiday entitlement is 25 days plus bank holidays.
