Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards to this permanent position. Our client is a well-established leading firm of solicitors based in Sheffield. They are a forward-thinking organisation and one of the leading law firms in South Yorkshire, well known for delivering excellent levels of client care.

They now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Solicitor/Legal Executive (FCILEx) to join their dedicated Family team. The Family department deals with a diverse range of privately funded family matters including divorce, civil partnership disputes, residence and contact disputes involving children, prenuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, complex high net worth settlements and international family law issues.

Candidates must have experience, knowledge and a demonstrable background of conducting private divorce and financial remedy matters in addition to undertaking advocacy. Applicants should ideally have a minimum of 3-4 years’ PQE and must be able to demonstrate sound technical knowledge together with exceptional client care, strong advocacy and excellent communication skills. Previous experience of business development would also be advantageous.

The Family team is recommended in the Legal 500 and the successful candidate will manage a diverse and rewarding caseload in addition to contributing to wider business objectives including business development.

Working hours – 9.00am -5.00pm Mon-Fri (flexible e.g. 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm etc), 1 hour for lunch. Possibility of hybrid working - minimum 3 days in office.
